Tadmarton Heath Golf Club Club Captain, David Lakin, driving in to office on 1st January It is a great privilege to be appointed Captain of Tadmarton Heath Golf Club for the first year of this new decade. Tadmarton retains its reputation as a premier Oxfordshire Club, based on the condition of the course and its friendly welcome to all visitors. We treasure the repeat visitors to our clubhouse and its culinary treasures. From a golfing aspect, the club is currently holding the county scratch team trophy of the Shaws League, truly no mean feat. I am so pleased to see the continuing investment to our golfing base, especially in these austere times. This is a great credit to our board of directors and our myriad of voluntary committee members. I would invite everyone to participate in maintaining our reputation. I would also trust that the extended social programme offers something for all of our members and their guests.
