Last Tuesday, 20th June, Taddy hosted one of the biggest events in our golfing calendar - the annual Charity Day.
It was another full line up as 20 teams from businesses and groups across the region competed in the annual team competition before tucking into a meal of spit-roasted meats at the Charity BBQ.
On the day which included the golf, an auction, 4-ball sale and other fund-raising activities, we raised in excess of £5500 for Katharine House Hospice, so a huge thank you to all that played a part in making the day such a success - from players to anyone who donated a raffle prize. The winners on the day were the 'Sparks', made up of Barry Pawley, Les, Luke and Jack Washbourne.
A big thank you to Toro and Michael Jones Jewellers for donating the auction items and each of the 10 golf clubs who donated 4-balls for our sale.
On to next year!
