The annual Fathers and Daughters Open once again attracted players from far and wide to compete at Tadmarton in this unique competition. Pairs traveled from clubs as far as Lancashire, East Sussex and Somerset for the 27 hole event, with some making the long journeys home with prizes to show for it!
The winners (pictured below) on the day were Steven and Harriett Lockley (Scratch Prize) from Somerset's Isle of Wedmore GC and Andrew and Emily James (Nett Prize) from Rossendale and Royal Lytham St Anne's golf clubs in the North West. The two winning pairs are coincidentally friends who meet up at the event every year, congratulations to them!
The competition raises money for the junior section here at THGC, so a huge thank you to Barbara Round whose hard work in organising and running the event is very much appreciated. Thank you also to the team of volunteers who worked so hard on the day.
The competition will return on Saturday 1st September next year, so keep an eye out for the entry form.
