The Club

Better than ever

One of the best clubs in the region is getting even better.

As Tadmarton approaches its 100th anniversary it has been the perfect time to take stock and look forward.

A number of strategic changes are being made to the course so that it continues to challenge even the most capable players. Under the careful eye of course architect Ken Moodie, bunkers have been added, mounds created and several greens extended. We are in the final year of our bunker programme, after which all original bunkers will have been remodelled and a few more added for good measure!

New members are joining all the time - more than 200 in the past five years. This means the age profile at Tadmarton is now considerably lower than it was and the club has benefited from the positive energy new members bring.

Within the last 3 years, Taddy has also taken positive steps off the course to modernise our image and processes. A fundamental factor in this has been the installation of the IntelligentGolf software that allows email and push notifications, online competition entry and for all club information including a live diary, members' directory and live updates to be accessable on the go. This includes the use of handy app that makes information available in seconds.

Other vital, progressive changes we have made include relaxing some strict, out-dated rules, including our dress-code and non-member limitations, We understand the importance of moving forward and recognise the need to modernise, meaning we are always looking to progress and welcome new ideas that benefit the club and its members.

The club also treasures a place in the North Oxfordshire community, and our Captain choses a local charity to support each year.
